Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 07/01/2021
After the government’s announcement on Monday 4th January 2021 we have undertaken some changes. At the GTA we want to ensure that we can provide a safe service following the government's guidelines. We have read through the new guidance and undertaken some changes to ensure that we can do so.
  • All Study Programme, Traineeship and Apprentice learners will now be completing distance learning.
  • Courses which require Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Body assessment and or mandatory activity which is scheduled can continue. This allows Light Vehicle Inspection, MOT Centre Manager, MOT New Tester and MOT Annual Training Courses to continue through the national lockdown with social distancing measures in place. However, our F-GAS and Hybrid courses are postponed until further notice.
  • The Local Knowledge Assessment is postponed until further notice.
This will be reviewed with each COVID-19 government guidance change.
For the safety reasons, we ask that you do not make unannounced visits to the GTA. The GTA team are working hard to ensure minimal disruption at this time.  If you have any queries please email or call 01482 353022.
Thank you for your understanding in this uncertain time, the GTA Team.
