Autocare Technician Apprentice x 9 posts
Savoy Autocare
Locations: WIllerby, Hessle, Hull Savoy Road, Hull South Orbital, Hull Brit Autocentre, Hull Quick Clutch, Beverley Mill Lane, Scunthorpe
Closing Date: 31/05/2024
Working in one of 13 Savoy Autocare Centres, you will work to achieve the
Level 2 Autocare Apprenticeship Standard over 2 years. You will not only on repairing
and maintaining vehicles you will gain experience and knowledge of hybrid vehicles, air
conditioning, parts stock management, customer service, sales and much more.

Responsibilities will include:
-
Demonstrate expertise, on the technical aspects of motor vehicle technology and
also in retail, parts and customer service
-
Hybrid / Electric vehicle system and safe working practices
-
Vehicle 4-wheel geometry principles
-
Vehicle systems including battery, charging and air conditioning
-
Tyre maintenance, legislation and technical information
-
Fundamentals of specialist vehicle systems
-
Use a range of tools, measuring and diagnostic equipment to identify and repair similar system faults
-
Experience how the business works and how you contribute to the overall results, demonstrating commercial awareness.

Motor Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Apprenticeships and Full-Time Courses
Starting September 2024
If you don't want to apply for any of the above vacancies, don't worry we can still help you find the
right apprenticeship employer for you.

We accept applications from anyone wanting to move into the motor vehicle sector and have
apprenticeships and full time courses available from September 2024.
​
All applicants will be invited in to the GTA to undertake a selection assessment to determine the
best course for you, we usually start these sessions at Easter.
​
Entry Requirements
*No experience necessary
*Ideally GCSE grade 4 and above although training will be given to reach these standards.
