Motor Vehicle Maintenance Tutor
Part-time / Full-time

Due to the high success of the GTA we are looking for a Motor Vehicle Maintenance Tutor
to join our team!

We are looking for a Light Vehicle Maintenance and Tutor to deliver, Motor Vehicle
Maintenance and Repair courses such as part-time and full-time courses and Apprenticeship
Standards up to level 3. You will be expected to deliver qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3.

Responsibilities
Your role as Motor Vehicle Maintenance Tutor will be to teach in group settings, managing individual learner expectations, managing learners journey on their course programme, carry out learner and employer reviews, schedule exams and assessments as and when necessary to meet the learners and College's needs. Liaise with the Training Manager and other Tutors on a weekly basis to ensure learner progress is tracked and reported on effectively.
​You may also be required to deliver other non-accredited training sessions as and when required, depending on knowledge and experience.

Qualifications
Ideally you will be qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at Level 3 or above. Experience in delivering light vehicle, motor vehicle maintenance and repair training would be an advantage, however, we would like to encourage applicants that are experienced Vehicle Technicians that would like to train to become a Tutor / Trainer. We will fully support you entering the education sector and offer you the opportunity to work towards relevant teaching qualifications.

Motor Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Apprenticeships and Full-Time Courses
Starting September 2025
​We accept applications from anyone wanting to move into the motor vehicle sector and have
apprenticeships and full time courses available from September 2025.
​
All applicants will be invited in to the GTA to undertake a selection assessment to determine the
best course for you, we usually start these sessions at Easter.
​
Entry Requirements
*No experience necessary
*Ideally GCSE grade 4 and above although training will be given to reach these standards.
