All Apprentices receive underpinning knowledge tuition at one of the local colleges on a day release basis, and will work towards academic and National Vocational Qualifications appropriate to their specialism, leading to Apprenticeship & Technical Certificates. NVQ's are assessed in the workplace by our team of qualified assessors. The GTA is approved by the Institute of the Motor Industry as an Assessment Centre. | ||
| The GTA caters for the training needs of over seventy of the major dealerships in the area, together with many other smaller businesses. All Apprentices are fully employed at the commencement of training, with all being Apprentices at a rate of pay which reflects the high quality of Apprentices accepted. | ![]() |

Each year the GTA are asked to nominate apprentices for the Institute of the Motor Industry’s District awards and the Institutes National awards. We are proud to say that our apprentices have been presented both awards on many occasions. |
