Vehicle Parts Advisor

The Parts Advisor plays a vital role in supporting the service and repair operations within a modern dealership. Responsible for hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of stock, the parts person will use advanced computerised systems to administer all aspects of stock movement.

Career  Progression

Successful applicants who complete both the selection tests and interviews  will commence employment.

You will aim to achieve an Apprenticeship Framework, which includes Technical Certificate, Key Skills and NVQ 2 all approved by The Institute of The Motor Industry.

Most of those successful as Apprentices can then  progress forward to an Advanced Apprenticeship framework consisting of a Technical Diploma, Key Skills and NVQ 3.

At any time during your apprenticeship you may be given specialist product training by your company or attend manufacturers training courses.

On completion of your Advanced Apprenticeship you can update your qualifications by using the Continuous Professional Development routes.

NVQ assessment will be carried out by GTA staff and quality controlled by the Institute of the Motor Industry

The Institute of the Motor Industry Certificate in Management is the route for potential managers on completion of an Advanced Apprenticeship
